The Gate Network is a system in Activeworlds that allows travel through a device called a StarGate. Users dial a address (like a phone number) and can connect to the dialed gate.
Updates:
(Mid November /06) Gate Network Bot
version 5.3 released. Please update your version to avoid disconnection
errors. Visit www.andras.net to browse different bot versions. Only use the
exe file when downloading from Andras' site, because you might find the readme
difficult to follow with his ini files. Latest version includes a autodial command,
allowing you to make an object that, when clicked, tells the bot to automatically
dial the gate for you. Use ;dialcode 1 2 3 4 5 6 (The number sequence destination)
(Early January /06) New ini format. Changed Gate
Network sound effects and way the gate dials. Please click here
to download the changes. Simply copy and paste over the old sections of the
ini file.
(Mid November /05) New! Increased detail in a basic
object update for 2 objects and 3 textures. Click
here to download the update if you already have the objects
on your path. Make sure to view the readme file for further information.
